Free Things to Do With Kids in San Diego - The Top Ten List

It's so much fun with children. It's a great excuse for the things you used to do not as a child all over again. But as you know, it's expensive enough to take care of their basic needs, and it is not always a lot of money left over for entertainment. Therefore, I have not compiled a list of the Top 10 free things with the children in San Diego:

Listen to a huge outdoor organ. Concertos are Spreckels Organ Pavilion in Balboa Park will be every Sunday afternoon at 2 clock

Star seen through a largeTelescope. Held the first Wednesday of each month, the San Diego Astronomy Association up telescopes outside the Reuben H. Fleet Science Center in Balboa Park is on the north side of the building through the large fountain. Show starts at dusk.

Build a snowman. Yes, it does snow in East County San Diego. Drive to the picturesque former gold mining town of Julian, when it snows and let the children play. It is a great place to get delicious apple pie and hot cider, to (bothwhich are free, but they will not set you back too much when a bus load or the like are fed.) And if your kids like to search the art by a number of galleries and check the library there for a taste of the local art.

Rollerblade the beach promenade. Or, skateboard, bike, walk or run. The Mission Beach Boardwalk is 3 miles long and ideal for the exercise and watch people.

Do you have a campfire. Nothing exemplifies California beach life more than a beach evening campfire. FewBeaches in San Diego make a campfire, though. Check out Coronado Beach, Mission Beach, La Jolla Shores and Moonlight Beach in Encinitas.

Explore the tidal pools. Point Loma, and Swami's Beach in Encinitas are locally known for its tidal pools. Only when the tide to go or they will need a snorkel.

Learn and play in the New Children's Museum. Admission is free for everyone on the second Sunday of the month.

Visit the Flying Leatherneck Aviation Museum. This is afree museum that houses over 25 vintage aircraft and aviation memorabilia. The museum is open Tuesday through Sunday, 9:00 to 3:30 PM Am.

Visit the Coronado Library. If ever a library for children, that's it. Puppet shows, story times, a small garden and a running toy train are just some of the attractions of this special library.

Hang Gliding at the square. Look at the hang gliders and paragliders launch from the gliding field in the vicinity of Torrey Pines.

If you do not feellike driving all over San Diego, take your children to one of 33 most beautiful beaches of San Diego. If you shadow, bring sunscreen, snacks, and toys, you have a complete day trip. Depending on how old your children are, you can even get some rest and relaxation, you can be there.
